Quality & Certifications
Tianlong Cylinders maintains a robust, evidence-based quality management system across our global manufacturing network. We combine long-running corporate ISO systems, factory-level testing labs and optional third-party verification to ensure every LPG cylinder meets regulatory and customer requirements before shipment.

Quality Management System
Tianlong operates under long-standing corporate management systems to ensure consistent quality, environmental stewardship and workplace safety across our sites:
ISO 9001 — Quality Management System (company-level; implemented since 1998)
ISO 14001 — Environmental Management System (company-level; implemented since 2016)
ISO 45001 — Occupational Health & Safety (group implementation programs)
These management systems provide the governance for controlled processes, internal audits, continual improvement and supplier control across our global factories.
Product Approvals & Market Certificates
In addition to corporate systems, product-level approvals are provided to meet destination market requirements. Typical product or market-level certificates we provide (depending on destination) include:
CE (where applicable for EU market requirements)
BV / Bureau Veritas inspection reports and certificates (third-party inspection on request)
SAS / local inspection reports (South Africa and other regional inspection programs)
Other market-specific conformity documents upon request
Note: Product certificates vary by model, country and buyer requirements. For specific shipments we attach the applicable product certificate and test reports to the commercial documentation package.

Testing Labs & Inspection Capabilities
Our factories and central QA teams maintain dedicated testing capabilities to verify cylinder safety and conformity:
Hydrostatic testing benches for batch pressure testing
Leak detection rigs and seal integrity checks
Dimensional and wall-thickness measurement (in-line gauges and lab tools)
Material verification (incoming steel certificate checks, sampling and metallurgical tests)
Destructive testing (sample tensile / hardness tests) when required for verification
All tests are logged in batch records and linked to shipment documentation for traceability.

Factory QA Processes & Traceability
Quality is enforced at each step with documented checkpoints and digital traceability:
Incoming material certificates and sampling acceptance
In-process QC checkpoints (forming / welding / finishing / valve fit)
Batch hydrostatic and leak tests with recorded pass/fail logs
Embossing / marking with serial or lot identifiers for downstream traceability
Pre-shipment QA checklist and container inspection
For fleet programs we can integrate serialized marking (barcode / RFID) to support lifecycle tracking and recertification records.

How We Support Regulatory Compliance
We review destination-specific statutory requirements during the quotation stage.
We advise on locally required markings, valve standards, and documentation.
For government or project tenders we provide tailored compliance packs and liaison support with local authorities.

FAQ
Can you provide copies of ISO and product certificates before placing an order?
Yes. We provide scanned copies of corporate ISO certificates and applicable product test reports upon qualified request. For detailed test reports we typically require a business contact and intended destination to ensure correct documentation.
Do you accept third-party pre-shipment inspections?
Yes. We routinely support third-party inspections (BV, SGS, Intertek or buyer-nominated agencies). Inspection scope and timing are agreed at PO or contract stage.
How is certificate validity and traceability maintained for shipped batches?
Each shipment includes batch test records, hydrostatic test logs and marking/embossing information linking cylinders to QA records. We can also serialize batches for lifecycle traceability when required.
What documentation will I receive with my shipment?
Standard shipment documentation includes packing list, commercial invoice, bill of lading, MSDS, and the applicable test certificates and QA checklist for the shipped batches. Additional compliance docs can be included on request.
